Pertronic relies on several collaborative partners - for electronic components, metalware, robotics to name a few - to manufacture our fire alarm panels.

In supplying an entire fire alarm system for commercial, industrial and residential buildings, we work closely with a number of suppliers.

Across the 42 years that Pertronic has been in business, System Sensor has been an important partner for the likes of fire alarm detectors and electronic modules (inside many of our fire panels).

Pertronic Production Manager Stephen Mills took the opportunity to rekindle a business relationship with Christella Che at the recent Australia FireShow held in Sydney. They are pictured above.

The Hong Kong-based Christella's is E2R Product Marketing Manager at Honeywell Building Technologies. Honeywell took over System Sensor in the early 2000’s.

Christella has a close ties to the System Sensor Shanghai factor that produces different types of fire detector (smoke, thermal, heat rate-of-rise, infrared and others).

"Maintaining supply-chain relationships is a core part of our business," says Stephen.

"Just as we nurture links with our fire system contractors and installers, we also cultivate discussion and feedback with the likes of System Sensor."

Stephen says the platform provided by the FireShow is invaluable in informing each other of new developments and projected supply requirements in the coming year.
